OrthoVirginia Westchester Ambulatory Surgery Center opening soon!

We are excited to announce to our patients that the OrthoVirginia Westchester Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) will be opening in October of this year!  This is a new state of the art ASC with full capability to perform outpatient orthopedic surgery procedures including total joint replacement surgery and spine surgery.  Dr Wind currently performs over 400 outpatient total joint procedures each year primarily at the HCA Boulders ASC and the OrthoVirginia Bremo ASC.  The addition of the Westchester facility will further expand the opportunity for patients to undergo minimally invasive joint replacement surgery with ambulatory discharge usually within 2-3 hours after surgery.  Dr Wind will be performing minimally invasive anterior total hip replacement at the Westchester ASC as well as the minimally invasive SubV Knee which is a completely muscle and tendon sparing total knee replacement procedure which allows rapid mobilization postoperatively and less pain while healing after surgery!
